The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
The MoMA has one of the largest and most influential collections of modern art in the world. Home to famous works like Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, Salvador Dali's The Persistence of Memory, and works by Mondrian, Monet, and Picasso, this is a haven for art lovers. Located smack in the center of Midtown Manhattan, MoMA is a must-see destination in New York.
Musée d'Orsay
Housed in the stunning Beaux-Arts style Gare d'Orsay railway station, The Musée d'Orsay is home to significant and stunning works by painters including Gauguin, Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, and Van Gogh. It's widely considered to be one of the most culturally important museums in the world.
Its entire collection is from the period 1848-1914, including many of the most significant Impressionist and post-Impressionist paintings ever created. Chronologically, the works come after those of the neighboring Louvre, and before the collection of the nearby Pompidou Centre.
Sagrada Familia
The Sagrada Familia is the magnum opus of the famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The cathedral was the finale to his incredible Modernist career, and it has been under continuous construction since 1882. Over time, the so-called 'architect of God' dropped all his other work so that he could focus exclusively on this project, which he did until his untimely death in 1926.
The Sagrada Familia is due to be finished in 2026, on the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death. By that time, the construction of the Sagrada Familia will have taken 144 years.
Van Gogh Museum
The Van Gogh Museum displays over 200 of Vincent van Gogh's works, including landscapes, still lifes and drawings, and letters. By displaying them alongside works from Van Gogh's contemporaries, viewers get real insights into his life and work.
The museum itself is comprised of two buildings. The main building, designed by Gerrit Rietveld, Joan van Dillen, and J. van Tricht, opened in 1973. The second building, designed by Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa was added in 1999. Located in Amsterdam's Museumplein (along with the Stedelijk and Rijksmuseum), the Van Gogh Museum is one of the most-visited museums in the Netherlands.

Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa is indisputably the tallest building in the world. It contains high-end homes, global companies, and of course, a swanky Armani Hotel. At 830 meters high, it's truly a testament to human ingenuity. Only the 124th, 125th, and 148th floor are open to the public. As you can imagine, the views from this shining beacon of progress in a desert by the ocean are pretty spectacular.
Belvedere Palace
The Belvedere Palace is in fact two palaces: the Upper and Lower, both of which were built by Prince Eugene of Savoy. These Habsburg palaces are the centerpieces of gorgeously landscaped gardens, with tiered fountains and statues nestled in the greenery. Both palaces are filled with priceless art in the permanent collections (including Gustav Klimt's The Kiss), as well as changing exhibitions.
London Eye
Once the world's tallest observation wheel, the London Eye has 32 sealed and air-conditioned capsules, each holding up to 25 people. It is located near Waterloo and the River Thames. A full rotation on the Eye takes 30 minutes and gives you a 360° view of London.
